Gadget Highlight!!!

Normally, I'm all makeup, but I actually started out with a strong skincare background (Thanks Bobbi, Chris, Lisa, Paulette, and Riese.) Your makeup will never look its best unless you take care of your skin. Think of your skin as a canvas that you paint.... is your painting going to look perfect if your canvas is all Discolored and frayed? It may look nice, but it won't hit it's full potential.

Back to skin... The first step to great skin is proper cleansing and exfoliation. (Trust me, there are many other super important steps... I'll get to those on a different day though.) There is a gadget out there called The Clarisonic that uses sonic technology to loosen the "gunk" that hides in your pores. It is made by the same people who brought us the Sonicare toothbrush!

It "uses a patented sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to clean, soften and smooth your skin. In just 60 seconds a day, the Clarisonic micro-massage action cleans more than twice as effectively as manual cleansing."- Clarisonic Website

I personally use my Clarisonic every time I cleans my skin, and I've noticed, that since I started using it, my serums and creams penetrate better (since there isn't any dirt or oil blocking the active ingredients from soaking into my skin.) The Clarisonic also gently exfoliates the skin (sloughs off the dead top layer of skin cells to reveal fresh, glowing skin.)

You can use the Clarisonic with any non abrasive cleanser. Clarisonic actually includes a cleanser in many of it's packages. I love my Clarisonic, and I know you will too.

Check it out for yourself! I promise, you'll love it!!!

Jen and Jason's wedding: Photos by Kelly Sweet

Hello everyone!!!

I am so excited to show this to you guys... I just got photos back from the wonderful Kelly Sweet of the wedding of Jen and Jason. Take a look...

Jen opted for Airbrush Foundation, bronzer, and blush. She wanted to make sure it lasted all day, and she said she had a tenancy to touch her face. Her skin looked flawless.

Another photo of Jen getting airbrushed!

Jason sent a small box over to the bride's room, inside were the most beautiful earrings, she just had to put them on right away!

Flawless, beautiful, blushing bride!

Doesn't she look wonderful?!?!

There are more photos of Jen and Jason's wedding on Kelly Sweet's blog.

So I regularly work with a truely AMAZING photographer named Mike Brouwer. I wanted to showcase a little bit of his work because I am ALWAYS so impressed. I can't put it all on here... I'd pretty much have most of my portfolio on one blog post, but I'll show you some of my favorites!

First Blog Post!!!

Hey guys!
I've decided I have to get into this whole Blogging thing. Bear with me, I haven't actually written anything since High school English, so I'm a bit rusty... it'll come back though.

Last night I worked on an amazing Photo shoot with Steven Fox Photography and one of my absolute favorite models Kelsey Scheider. We did a little bit of beach stuff, then we did some test stuff for a lingerie company. Care to take a peek at a few of the shots we got?

Here you go....

We started out on the beach.

Then Kelsey went for a swim and I threatened her that even though she's VERY strong, and going into the Air force, I would KICK HER BUTT if she fell in the water and messed up her hair and makeup. HAHAHA

Kelsey was channeling Simba... getting ready to pounce!

Such a beautiful face!

Sultry look!

Innocent!

Intense!

As you can see, I was VERY happy with the outcome from the shoot. This wasn't the first time I'd worked with Kelsey, actually, if you look at my website, Kelsey practically overtakes the website. Se is a FANTASTIC model. This WAS, however, the first time I'd worked with Steven Fox. We'd been trying to get a shoot going for quite some time, but we've both been so busy with wedding season, that its been tough. So I'm very happy that we could work something out, and his work met all of my expectations!
